Originally published under the name Denim Stripes in Gradient Stripes Book from Interweave Press, this pattern was renamed and re-released as a single PDF in September of 2021. It now features extended sizing and two different gradient options--one with five colors in addition to the original nine color gradient pattern.

NEEDLES

US size 4 / 3.5 mm 24” / 60 cm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge and one size smaller 40” / 100 cm circular needles AND needles of both sizes as preferred for working small circumferences in the round.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTIONS

4 stitch markers, holder, tapestry needle, 7 ½”/ 13 mm buttons, needle, thread, optional grosgrain ribbon for reinforcing button holes..

GAUGE

28 sts and 38 rows/rnds = 4” (10 cm) in St st with larger needles.
