Parsons Green is a DK weight circular yoke sweater that is knit from the top down in the round. This was one of the last patterns I designed while living in London and so it takes its name from my now old neighborhood.

Finished Sizes:

XS (S1, S2, M1) M2 [L1, L2, XL]

With finished chest circumferences of

32 (36, 40, 44) 48 [52, 56, 60]”

This sweater is designed to be worn with 2-6” / 5-15 cm positive ease.

The sample shown is shown in a size S1 on a 34” bust.

Gauge:

24 stitches and 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st

DK weight yarn suitable for colorwork in the following approximate quantities:

MC: 865 (965, 1083, 1182) 1281 [1406, 1526, 1659] yards
790 (883, 990, 1080) 1171 [1285, 1395, 1517] meters

CC1: 144 (160, 180, 196) 213 [233, 253, 275] yards
131 (147, 164, 179) 195 [213, 232, 252] meters

CC2: 187 (208, 234, 255) 277 [304, 329, 358] yards
171 (191, 214, 233) 253 [278, 301, 327] meters

Needles and Notions: 

US size 7 / 4.5 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge); plus needles two sizes smaller as preferred for working small circumferences in the round.

1 stitch marker, waste yarn, tapestry needle, removable stitch marker.

Techniques used: 

Increasing, decreasing, stranded colorwork, short rows, picking up stitches, knitting in the round. The colorwork for the yoke is charted.
